In addition to 12v external battery and 230v mains adaptor input, Raptor will operate from an internally loaded 6v spring top (PJ996) battery. The standard capacity battery, commonly used in domestic torches, is widely available in most supermarkets so offers an easily accessible emergency power source. The battery can operate as a reserve back up when charging your 12v battery or when unable to check your 12v battery status. When operating from the AC adaptor the 6v internal battery will serve as an emergency battery back up. Our high capacity version will operate as primary power source on the lower power models and give greater longevity in a back up situation. The three colour rotating LED rotates with every pulse, showing how much effective voltage you have on the fence line. A central LED flashes red when your 12v battery is low or when the energiser is running from the 6v internal battery. If operating from the 230v adaptor and have a 6v battery inserted, the LED will indicate that the energiser is operating on battery back up. Will power upto 8km of single fencing.
